Domaine Michel Noellat – Vosne Romanee

This esteemed family estate in the center of the village of Vosne Romanee dates back 6 generations into the 19th century.  The domaine owns 27 hectares of vineyard producing 23 appellations focused primarily on red wines from the Cote de Nuits.

In 2007 a major upgrade was the addition of temperature controlled stainless fermentation tanks.  The harvest is picked by hand and the bunches are all destemmed.

The village wines are aged in 30% new barrels, and the 1er and grands crus 50%.  The reds are macerated 3 days at low temperature followed by fermentation for 2 weeks.
