The Verviers family has been producing Pouilly Fuisse on their estate for
five generations. The estate includes eight hectare in Pouilly Fuisse in
many parcels and 3-1⁄2 hectares in neighboring Solutre. The minimum
age of the vines is 25 years, and many are up to 72-years-old. The style
of the
wines is fresh, bright and clean with pure fruit flavors, a pleasant sense
of minerality and a dry, crisp finish. The wines are bottled by hand using
gravity and almost no sulphur is used. When possible, the wines are bottled
without filtration. |
