The 2000 Marsannay from Domaine Trapet is light, fresh, clean and delicious.
It combines pretty aromas of cherry and wildflowers and bright, sweet fruit
on the palate. This is delightful, pure Pinot Noir to be enjoyed greatly
in the flower of its youth.

From the International
Wine Cellar (Mar/Apr 2003): "Points: 85. Moderately saturated
medium red. Slightly roasted aromas of plum, redcurrant and chocolate. Fat,
soft and sweet, with modest verve and clarity but good texture and weight
in the mouth." © International

Reviews for 2001 Vintage
From the International Wine Cellar (Mar/Apr 2003): "Points: 85-86.
Good medium red. Somewhat sauvage aromas of plum and smoked meat. Sweet fruit nicely firmed by sound acidity. Finishes with firm, building tannins and a note of spice." © International Wine Cellar
Reviews for 2002 Vintage
From the The Wine Advocate, Issue 151 (Feb 2004): "Points: 88.
Dark plumy fruits are found in the expressive aromatics of the 2002 Marsannay. Soft, supple, rich, and medium-bodied, it offers velvety flavors reminiscent of blackberry paste. Drink it over the next 3-4 years." © The Wine Advocate
Reviews for 2007 Vintage
From the The Wine Advocate, Issue #143 (March/April 09): "Points: 85-88. Medium red. Wild red fruits and smoked meat on the nose. Supple and spicy, with moderate flavor intensity but enticing sweetness. Fairly complex flavors of red fruits, spices and meat are nicely framed by ripe acidity, giving cut to the wine.
