Description In a great vintage like 2000, even the second wines of the great estates of the Medoc are really classy. Les Hauts du Tertre is the second wine of Ch. du Tertre in the commune of Margaux. Les Hauts presents a brilliant and deep ruby purple color with an expressive nose of black fruits and toasty oak. In the mouth sweet, ripe cherry and blackberry fruits are nicely balanced by supple, round tannins and vanilla oak. The finish is sweet and long and the overall impression is that of a rich, voluptuous, forward wine which can be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years.
