Description This is the second wine of Lafon Rochet in Saint Estèphe. Made from a selection of barrels deemed lacking the concentration and tannic structure suitable for the Grand Vin, the 1996 is now fully mature. This is a big, bright wine with plenty of black cherry fruit and round, firm tannins. It has a smooth texture and a long, sweet finish.
