| Roseraie de Gruaud (St. Julien) | ||||||
Roseraie de Gruaud is the second wine of Gruaud Larose, the great estate
in Saint Julien. The 82 hectare estate has clay and limestone soils. The
grape blend is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and
4% Petit Verdot. The selection for Roseraie is from younger vines and barrels
not considered concentrated enough for the Grand Vin.
