Description In the year 2000, the lesser estates in the satellite regions of St. Emilion often represent great values. Ch. Rose d’Orion, the second wine of Ch. Grand Barail, is a wonderful example of this. It has aromas of bright cherries and light toast followed by a mouthful of clean, pure cherry fruit. The tannins are ripe, smooth and round and the finish is very sweet and pleasant. This is a wine to enjoy over the next five years.
