It has a deep, dark, ruby red color and intense aromas of berries, cherries and spicy, toasty oak. On the palate the wine has matured beautifully and shows layers of ripe cassis and black cherry fruit and smooth, vanilla oak. The finish is long and sweet, and the overall impression is that of an excellent, ready-to-drink, classy Pauillac.
