Reviews for 2000 Vintage From the Wine Advocate, #145 (Feb 2003): "Points: 89. [The Cotes du Rhone Bouquet is] kept in tank prior to being bottled with neither fining nor filtration. A blend of 60% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise, and 10% Carignan, it exhibits plenty of peppery, spicy, earthy black fruits, medium body, a touch of minerality, and a nicely structured, spicy finish. Consume it over the next 4-5 years." © The Wine Advocate Reviews for 2003 Vintage From the Wine Advocate, #156 (Dec 2004): "Points: 89. Just as impressive is the 2003 Cotes du Rhone Bouquet (90% Grenache and 10% Syrah), which emerges primarily from vineyards in the northern sector of the southern Cotes du Rhone (specifically Vinsobres). While it does not possess the power of Les Beaumes, it displays more mineral and sweet currant fruit notes along with a deep ruby color, and fine elegance and precision." © The Wine Advocate Reviews for 2005 Vintage From the Wine Advocate, #173 (Oct 2007): “Points: 88. A terrific offering is his {2005 Cotes du Rhone Bouquet} Much of this comes from old vine Grenache from the village of Rasteau. It shows a nice roasted herb, scorched earth, and chocolatey character, impressive ripeness, medium to full body, and a long finish. It should drink well for 5-6 years.” © The Wine Advocate Reviews for 2006 Vintage From the Wine Advocate, #173 (Oct 2007): “ “Points 86. The {2006 Cotes du Rhone Bouquet} had a lot more Syrah in it that the 2005. It shows a deep ruby color, very good concentration, but a straightforward finish.” © The Wine Advocate |
