Elevage Three weeks maceration with temperature control Pneumatic press. 80% aged in new barrels, 20% in tank. No fining or filtering. Description This small family estate in the heart of the Faugères appellation has some of the finest terroir in the region. The family also takes winemaking very seriously and has invested greatly in state of the art presses, fermenters and barrels. With its high percentage of Syrah, this pretty, complex red has lovely fragrance of framboise and sweet oak. On the palate, the pure framboise fruit is balanced nicely by soft, round tannins and elegant, well-integrated oak. This wine drinks beautifully now and will continue to give pleasure 5-10 years.
