Description The Cuvée de Fondateur is selected from the best parcels of the vineyard and the best lots of wine from the estate. It represents about 30% of the production. Richer and more concentrated than the regular cuvée, it gains complexity and texture from 12 months aging in barrel, 25% of which are new. It has aromas of toasty oak and black cherries and has a rich, layered texture on the palate. The finish is long, clean and fruity.
