Egg white fined, not filtered. Description Bouquet de Monbrison is the second wine of the up-and-coming Ch. Monbrison in Margaux. The second wine is made up of the best lots of wine not selected for the Grand Vin because they lacked the requisite intensity and tannic structure. The pleasant result of this severe selection is a wine with the lovely fruit and ripeness of the 2000 vintage in the Medoc, without the concentrated load of tannins. It is ripe and sweet with layers of cherry and plum and perfectly ready to drink in its youth while waiting for the first wines to come around.
